Hello, friends! Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and read my post. I appreciate you! 

This is my first mission trip with the World Race, and I am so excited! We will be going to Nicoya, Costa Rica, for the month of June to connect with local churches and youth groups. Although we are going to encourage the locals and help them to grow closer to Jesus, I have no doubt that my own faith will be challenged and that I will also be growing over the course of this trip, which is thrilling and terrifying at the same time. It will be a life-changing experience. 

I need to raise $3250 for this month-long mission trip. This will cover my food/lodging/health insurance/travel for the entire trip, so I won't be a burden on the missionary host family. I would love any amount you could spare to help support me. Asking for money is hard for me, but I am learning to see it as a partnership to spread the love of Christ. Philippians 4:17 shows that your gift is not only a huge blessing for me and the people we will be serving in Costa Rica, but it is also a blessing to you when God sees your sacrifice and blesses you in return.

But even if you aren't able to give money, please support us with your prayers! Pray for ease of travels and adjusting to new cultures, pray for safety over the course of training and serving, pray that God will use us to significantly impact the people we meet! 1 John 5:14 says "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." And isn't that a comforting thought?
